Only Three Steps to Get Started
  1. Gather necessary documents:
Florida Driver's License or Florida ID (for all applicants)
Social Security Number (of all owners applying and their spouses)
Florida Vehicle Registration (for all applicants)
Palm Beach County Voter ID with Homestead Address (for all applicants who are U.S. Citizens and registered to vote)
Proof of Permanent Residency (for non U.S. citizen)

  2. Request a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for secure application processing. The PIN and your email address will be used as your authorization and electronic signature for filing a Homestead exemption on your property. You will need to locate your property by either, Address, or Property Control Number (PCN).

  3. Once your application is submitted, the Property Appraiser's Office will review and process the information. A receipt will be emailed to you.

I wish to request a PIN to begin the application process.

Note: The requested PIN will be sent via email at the email address you have provided in your request. Use this password to log on.
Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public records. If you do not want your e-mail address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact this office by phone or in writing.
